About Me

I work at the Hope Village Initiative in Detroit, and write about global economic development, Latin America, climate change, and American cities.

I graduated from American University in 2011, where I studied economics and sociology. After college I worked at a social service agency that helped DC Department of Mental Health clients manage their money, and after that spent some formative time traveling in Latin America. I enjoy photography, ice hockey, and fantastical strategy games. I also have a Twitter and a newsletter.
